Living Again Series by L.L. Collins

Living Again
Reaching Rachel
Guarding Hearts
Finding Forever
Breaking Free

Due to adult language and situations, 18+ please.

What kind of guy are you wishing for your next book boyfriend? Is it Ben from Living Again, the professional doctor who is sweet and will take of all of your needs? Maybe Devin from Reaching Rachel, who is tough and can take over any rough situation like the alpha male he is. Perhaps you are looking for Ellis from Guarding Hearts, the strong and silent guy with the sexiest arms ever. Then of course there is Brantley from Finding Forever, the hot model that actually has brains and isn't afraid to use them. But let us not forget the diamond in the rough, Greer from Breaking Free; the misunderstood, awkward guy that is not concerned about letting you in, but once you are...you can't be anywhere but with him.

And we can't forget the strong women that they can't help but fall for. Maybe it's Kayley, with her quiet determination to get through her loss the only way she knows how. Or Rachel, the fiery red head that no one really knows, with a hole in her heart and trouble on the horizon. But it just might be Sam, the country megastar that has lived under her parents' thumb her entire life, but finds herself simultaneously falling in love and fighting for her life. Lacey just might be the one, however. Affected horribly by a tragic loss young in her life, she throws herself into being successful in everything but love. But when the worst thing happens, love may be just what she needs. And no one can forget baby Alexis, who captures hearts in Living Again. This time, she's all grown up and heading to college. But she's no ordinary college girl, and in true Alexis fashion, she shows everyone what it's like to make a difference in this world, no matter how small.

Come meet all of the Living Again men and the women that capture their hearts in the Living Again Box Set by Best Selling Author LL Collins. Over 450,000 words of real life, friendship, romance, emotion, and happy ever after.

My Review

This series is by far one of my favorite series of all time.  L.L. Collins has an incredible talent.  In each and every book in this series the emotions just pour off the pages.  No matter which character is staring as the lead roles you can't help but fall in love with each and everyone.  The fact that her books discuss real life issues makes the characters seem more real and allows the readers to really connect with them.  There was always something that each character goes through that I could relate to personally.  I love each and every charcter in these books and they have found thier way into my soul and I do not see them leaving anytime soon.  This series will move you to tears, make you laugh, and show you what love and support really is.  You must read this series!

Living Again (Living Again #1)

Kayley Carson thought she had it all...married to the love of her life, a great job, and a baby on the way. Then one day, her life changes forever when she lost her husband in a tragic accident. No longer sure how to navigate life after her enormous loss, Kayley clings to her newborn baby, her family, and her friends to keep herself living.

When she meets someone that challenges her belief that she's better off alone, she has to decide if she is capable of letting him in after swearing she was never going to love anyone the same way again.

She's not the only one with a painful past. He is struggling with trust issues after a previous relationship went horribly wrong. After a terrible misunderstanding brings out both of their insecurities, will the painful memories of the past keep them both from living again?

My Review

If I could give this book 50 stars I would! I have never felt an instant connection to a character like I did with this book. From the first few pages Kayley had already squirmed her way into my heart. I was pulled in so deep that it almost felt like I was the one going through the emotions. My heart broke for her and everything that she had to go through. I don't know if I would be able to survive like she did. Then enter the dreamy Dr. Yummy!!!!! ( Where can I find one?) Ben ( Dr. Yummy) arrives in the story almost like a dream. He seems almost too good to be true. Ben Could melt the ice off any heart. He is exactly what Kayley needs. These two are not without thier ups and downs as any good relationship has. There were times that i wanted to reach through the book and just shake or slap the both of them.

L.L. Collins did an amazing job at getting the emotions across that the characters were going through. This book had me laughing, crying( big fat ugly tears), saying AWWWW, and smiling like a loon! There are not enough words in the English Language to express how great this book was! YOU MUST READ IT!

Reaching Rachel (Living Again #2)

**Disclaimer:** This book contains difficult topics that may be hard for some readers and is suggested for a mature audience only. It contains strong language, sexual situations, abuse, and other content that may be problematic for some to read. Please keep this in mind when choosing to read this book.

Rachel has always been seen as a wild child, never committing or settling down. She wants it that way, so that no one ever finds out the truth. Deep down, she is crushed over something that happened years ago that resulted in losing the only man she ever loved. Then she meets someone who tries to convince her that she’s ready to commit again. But some things are not what they seem. Realizing too late that she’s in over her head, and with her life on the line, she comes face to face with her past in a way she never thought possible.

Devin was in love once, and it destroyed him, making him swear off love forever. After a promotion and subsequent move unexpectedly brings him into the middle of her dangerous situation, he must come face to face with his past and to the woman who broke him into pieces. But she needs help. Desperately. And maybe, just maybe, he didn't know the real truth of their past. Can he help her survive the terrible ordeal she's been through, and during it all, can he safeguard his heart from her? Or will the truth of the pain that has kept them apart show him that he can't live without her after all?

My Review

HOLY COW, I don't even know where to start with this one! I both love and hate the fact that LL Collins can make me feel these crazy emotions in this book. I am over here feeling like I have been pushed and pulled in so many emotional directions that I am not even sure which way is up and which way is down. Rachel is an incredibly strong woman. Everything that she has gone through and goes through in this book left me feeling so heartbroken for her. The emotions that Rachel goes through in this book were written so well and left me feeling emotionally raw as if I was right there experiencing the emotions with Rachel. This book deals with some very heavy subject matter and some parts will leave you gasping at what happens, but this is stuff that really happens in our world and makes the characters seem more real to the readers. LL Collins ripped my heart out with Rachel's story but it also shows the reader that with love and support it is possible to get through anything!

Guarding Hearts (Living Again #3)

Ellis Warner is a police officer, everyone’s friend and every girl’s fantasy- funny, dedicated, and too good looking for his own good. Thanks to a childhood he would rather forget and a young adulthood riddled with mistakes, he knows that no one can ever find out who he really is. He lives his life pretending to be the guy everyone sees on the outside. The one thing he knows for sure is that he can’t be serious with anyone. When he takes a second job as security for a new country star coming into town, he has no idea how that one decision will change his entire life and expose everything he has worked so hard to bury.

Samantha Kerrigan won a nationwide contest that immediately forces her into the spotlight. Her dreams of being a successful country singer have come true, but dreams always come with a price. While going out on her first tour, a stalker’s advances threaten her safety, forcing her team to hire more protection.

The second she meets Ellis, she knows there’s something about him and immediately makes him her private bodyguard. But he’s determined just to do his job, and she’s determined to make him open up. When her life is threatened and his secrets are exposed, will Ellis be able to guard Sam from danger, and his heart from her?

My Review

Another amazing emotional read from L.L. Collins! This book has everything that I have come to love in her books. I was so excited to read and learn more about Ellis. After reading Reaching Rachel I just new there was more to him and I wanted to learn more! However what I did learn was not something that I could have seen coming. I will say I was glad Ellis moved closer to Devin because he really needed his friend. When he gets a chance at a job to protect america's sweetheart Sam the internal struggle he ends up going through is gut wrenching! Sam has her own fair share of demons too. With Ellis being so closed off and Sam fighting so hard for him at the same time they are both battling demons that have run thier life for so long the road becomes very bumpy. If they can learn to battle together they might just make it!

L.L. Collins once again takes the reader on an emtional ride through crazy ups and downs. The real life situations that the characters go through once again make the characters more real. While reading this I couldn't help but feel the emotions that characters were clearly feeling. Then there was also the twist that I enver saw coming and completely took me by surprise! I can not wait to read more.

Finding Forever (Living Again #4)

Lacey Russell has had enough heartbreak and loss for one lifetime. Turning tragedy into motivation, she becomes a veterinarian to honor her mother’s memory. She knows the path her life is on and she decided long ago that falling in love is not part of that plan. She’s seen firsthand that all it does is cause sorrow and pain.
Brantley Tucker is the heir to Tucker Ranch, the most well-known ranch in all of Nashville. Much to the dismay of his parents, he doesn’t want it. It’s always been his dream to model, and he’s worked hard to achieve success. All he wants is to be supported and loved, but he wonders if that will ever happen for him.
After many chance encounters throw Lacey and Brant together, it feels like something bigger than them is at work. When Lacey gets news that shatters her entire world, can she accept the support and love that Brant offers, or will the fear of the unknown make her turn down the chance at finding her forever?

My Review

Tissues are needed for this book! Another simply amazing book for L.L. Collins. Once again She takes real life situations and breaks you down. You can't help but fall in love with Lacey and Brantley. The things that these two have had to go through in thier past will leave you wanting to squeeze the life out of them. Then add in the things that the future hold in store for them will leave you emotionally invested in these characters forever. The things that both Lacey and Brantley go through hit really close to home for me and this was by far my favorite book of the series. This book has every thing that I have loved in all the previous books. Once again the emotion just pours off the pages! YOU MUST READ THIS SERIES!

Breaking Free (Living Again #4.5)

Alexis Carson-Nichols has had what anyone would describe as an idyllic childhood. She has great parents, little brothers and sister that mean the world to her, and friends that are always there for her. As she graduates from high school and gets ready to go to college, she feels like she has the world at her fingertips. She can’t wait to experience life as a young adult. Maybe even get a boyfriend…as long as her school comes first.
What she doesn’t expect is to meet Greer Henderson. Greer hasn’t had a life anything like Alexis’. Sure, he’s had the parents that loved him, but that was about it. He’s never been understood or even tolerated. He’s spent his life in a constant state of inner chaos and outer turmoil. See, Greer has Aspergers. When he finally gets up enough courage to take a few classes at his local college, he becomes lab partners with Alexis. He thinks she’s the most beautiful person he’s ever laid eyes on, but he knows she won’t want anything to do with him. None of the kids ever do. But if there’s one thing he’s good at, it’s science.
As Alexis tries to break through Greer’s tough exterior and understand his idiosyncrasies, she realizes that Greer may just be teaching her more than she could ever imagine, and changing her life in insurmountable ways. Can Alexis teach others how to love and accept Greer, even if he’s different? And can Greer, through Alexis, realize that all of his dreams are within his reach and that he’s worthy of love after all?

My Review

Great Conclusion to this series! This was a wonderful book that brings everything full circle as you get to see Alexis the little girl who stole your heart in book one reach adulthood and grow into her own. Alexis is in her first year of college and is ready to see what the world has to offer. When she is paired with Greer in Biology class she gets to see how cruel some people really are. Greer will steal your heart! Greer had Aspergers and while he has always had the love and support of his parents and his one and only friend the rest of the world has not been as understanding. Dealing with being bullied his entire life he now wonders if maybe Alexis will turn out to be just like everyone else. Alexis has such a big heart and can't help but fall for Greer. The way she goes against bullies for him and tries to get everyone to see that despite him having Aspergers that he is a great person is what everyone in the world should do. This book proves that just because someone is different does not mean anything. People being bullied is a serious issue in our world and L.L. Collins does an amazing job at bringing this situations to light. Another amazing must read heart touching book!

Synopsis:

My name is Destiny, a fact I appreciate, since I’ve always felt like I had one.

I live in the fast lane, which runs right through a world full of expensive cars, designer bags, and top-of-the-line everything else - none of which I get to experience. I’m not fancy, I never have been. If there’s one thing I know, it’s that the world is quick to put labels on everyone and everything, but what a label can’t do, is tell you who you really are.

I’ve come a long way from who I used to be. Ten year ago, I was dependent on others, lacking in direction, and … in love with Sebastian Medina.

He captured me with his chocolate-brown eyes and reckless heart. I gave him everything I had to offer back then, even the most sacred parts of my heart and my body. When he left he took my virginity with him. My heart was in tatters.

So I started trying to put the pieces back together. I went to law school, became independent. Now, he’s come back, and the only thing I haven’t been able to do, is mend my broken heart.

I’ve followed my intuition, and let him back into my life, but it’s carried with it a price. His past has come back to haunt us, and the life I’ve carefully constructed for myself is in danger of being lost

The Touch Series

Available in box set

Touch Me

Char is a focused and driven career woman who's had a relationship she would rather choose to forget, but can't. Riley is a pure gentleman who can easily leave the past where it belongs, behind him.

Some people believe in fate where others deem it a coincidence. Char and Riley are meant to be together, so life just happens to make sure they are in the right place at the right time.

But is that enough?

You’ll be falling in love with this dynamic duo as they find out who they are and why fate keeps making sure their lives are intertwined.

Their differences are what make them all too similar, and throughout the course of their journey there is one thing that always brings them back together...the need for each other's touch.

My review

This book was a nice easy read for me and I loved it. I was pulled in from the start. The first meeting between Riley and Char had me laughing out loud. I could not wait to see what happened next. This is a great love story and was a nice change for me as I am used to reading drama filled romances and while Riley and Char have their hiccups it is not over the top drama. T.H. Snyder did an amazing job of writing this book so that you can really get to know her characters and relate to them. The fact that you get to read from both Riley and Char's point of view makes all the difference. It adds that little extra to the characters that you do not get from a book that is strictly one character's point of view. This is a great love story that I will highly recommend to my friends and family and anyone else willing to listen!

Touched By You

Chloe and Derrick have spent most of their lives together as friends and as lovers; they have formed a connection that few couples can make last. This duo is bound by one thing that no one can destroy. They have been touched by one another and no one can take that away.

That is until one of them is forced to make a decision and their lives take on a different path.

Can these two withstand the reality of what lies ahead? Are they able to hold a relationship together with just the mere fact that they may love each other? Is it possible to maintain a bond that no one else has been able to touch?

Chloe and Derrick may have the relationship others dream about, but sometimes things do get in the way and it can be impossible to forgive and forget.

My Review

This book put me on an emotional ride from the very beginning. It grabbed me from the very first page and did not let go until the very end. I loved Chloe and Darrick's story! This book had it all. There was drama, humor, love, happiness, Sadness, and even a touch of tragedy. I felt a connection to these characters and felt like I was feeling the emotions right along with them. I cried with them and I also got so mad at the characters I wanted to slap them. This book is all about the love that everyone dreams about finding.

Chloe and Darrick have not had the easiest of relationships as it seems like choice after choice makes them choose between each other and something else creating more and more distance between them. Are they going to be able to survive it all? You will have to read to find out. I highly recommend this book ! I can not wait to read more.

Touched By Another

Lately Emma MacIntyre has been pretending to live the life of a perfect wife while her husband Keith takes control over her family business. With the loss of her parents to a tragic car accident and a fight that causes her brother, Riley, to move out of state Emma chooses to stand by her husband.

While sorting out her parent’s estate, Emma stumbles across a few hidden secrets that she suspects Keith has kept her from. Heartbroken Emma turns to her brother for support, hoping to also rekindle their own broken relationship. During a visit to Boston Emma finds herself reacting to a complete stranger when he is willing to comfort her and listen to her pain.

Is Emma ready to move on with her life and leave the hurt of her failing marriage behind? Will Emma fight the urge to fall once she has been Touched by Another?

This book is recommended for readers 18 years of age and older. It contains adult language and sexual scenes not intended for young readers.

My Review

This book has everything that you I have come to expect from T.H. Snyder. This is all about Emma's story. The struggle she goes through once her parents die made my heart break for her. While dealing with that grief she also has to try to do what is best for her brother and try to save her marriage. It starts out with enough drama that the reader is sucked right into the story. When Emma finds out that she has been lied to she decides to make some big changes in her life and sets out on a journey to find herself. I enjoyed taking this ride with her. I laughed and cried right along with the characters. I also wanted to slap them a few times.

I fell in love with Pete when he finally enters the story. He is such a sweetheart!

I would recommend this book to all my friends and family and any other avid reader!

You've Been Touched

Char and Riley have encountered pain and heartache in the past. They were sure that they would never meet someone that would heal their hearts and allow them to love again. Then, on an ordinary Sunday, a newspaper in a minimart changes their lives forever.

Although they share a strong physical connection, they ultimately hunger for one another’s emotional touch.

No matter how hard they’ve tried to stay away from each other, the magnetic force between them has always remained strong.

Char and Riley have been through it all; love and loss, trust and deceit. They are the glue that holds their Boston family together and the ones that would be lost without the love and support of their family and friends.

Today is the day we’ve all waited for—the magical moment when two lives become one.

My Review

This was a great ending to a great series! I love that this book takes it back to Char and Riley for the most part. I loved reading the ending to this and the beginning to Char and Riley's life all over again. The flashbacks that Riley has during this book brough me back to why I fell in love with the series in the first place. It was nice to see how all the characters have grown together! This is a great short sweet story that everyone should read!

t.h. snyder Spotlight part 1

Lincoln Minzotto has the life everyone wants, yet he resents it.

He’s grown up as the youngest of three children to a wealthy congressman and successful lawyer. Pushed to his absolute excellence, Linc felt the real path for him was different than his parents’ hopes and dreams.

On the most important night of his father’s reelection, Linc makes a choice that will lead to a lifetime of regret.

Deciding to start a new life, he and his best friend, Daulton, purchase a rundown tattoo shop called Cursed Magic.

While restoring Cursed Magic, Linc’s faith in life is put to the test in more ways than one. Faced with the horrors of the bleak, starless nights and the women that come and go, he decides to give up all together, until one fateful night with a stranger.

Will one night shape his future forever? Can he turn the Curse he’s endured into a blessing even though all odds are against him?

My Review

T.H. Snyder left me speechless with this book. From the very first chapter I was hooked. I could not stop turning pages and could not wait to see what happened next. The book is written in multiple point of views which is something that I love because I feel that lets me know the characters better. It also let me feel more connected because you are getting more than one side to the story. You see multiple personalities and they are all very different, but they still work well together. She did an amazing job writing the emotions of the characters. I was feeling the same the emotions that the characters were and felt like I was in the story with them.

Cursed Ecstasy

Daulton Rinnich's life has been full of grief. Hiding from the memories of his past, he'll do almost anything to numb his pain. Between his cocky persona, late night partying, and random hook-ups, he's in need of a serious wake up call.

Even though Dault knows it's time for him to grow up and change his ways, he enjoys being the man of the Cursed Crew. He pretends to enjoy life, but on the inside, Dault's content being miserable. That is, until a tragic night changes his life views and priorities.

Will the fear of loss curse him again; or will he be set free and see the possibilities of love and happiness when he least expects it?

My Review

T.H. Snyder did it again!!! I have been waiting for this book since I read Cursed Love. That is where I fell in love with Dault.

Cursed Ecstasy picks up where Cursed Love left off. Dault has to learn to deal with his past before he can move on to his future, and Etty has to decide if Dault is worth waiting for or if she should just move on.

I loved this book. It took me on one heck of an emotional ride. I fell in love with Dault even more. It was so great to get to know him and learn all his different layers. Dault is a very complicated character. While I have always been team Dault there were a few times that I wanted to slap him but as the story goes on and more details are released about the things he has been through the more the reader can understand what makes him the person he is.

I was unsure about Etty during Cursed Love but I fell in love with her too! Getting to know both of these characters on a deeper level was far more emotional then I thought it was going to be. I was crying for the first time by chapter 3 and I cried a few other times as well. I spent a lot of this heart broken for both characters, but when things got good they were really good and had me saying aww out loud. There were also times that I wanted to hit something and throw things( I may or may not have thrown my e-reader) . You also get to see some of Linc in this book and at times he made me angry but I still love him.

T.H. Snyder knows how to write so that reader goes through the emotions with the characters and the reader can feel the emotions right along with the characters. She is an amazing author and I can't wait to read more from her.

Cursed Heart

Christian Jack has been tattered and abused his entire life. Being repeatedly placed in and ripped out of foster homes during his childhood, he’s never had a family to call his own. No one has ever shown him love, compassion, or the support he desperately needs. All he’s ever wanted was to be a part of something bigger, something better.

Driving home from work one morning, he stops into a local diner for a quick bite to eat. Sitting alone, feeling deflated, a complete stranger walks in and changes his world in the blink of an eye. The instant connection he feels toward her is like nothing he's ever experienced. Wanting so much from this mysterious woman, he can’t help but to see her in his every thought and dream.

When an unexpected tragedy reunites them, it would be unbearable to him to push away the connection he feels for her. She’s everything he’s ever wanted and needed, but is she enough to turn his Cursed Heart into the man he needs to be for her?

My Review

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this book early from the author. T.H. Snyder did not disappoint in this book. After Cursed Ecstasy there was so much controversy over the main character in this book Christian. While he is not my favorite lead in this series I loved this book. It was great to get to know him on a lead level and not just a support character. The author did an amazing job at making the reader feel the emotions and really understand where Christian is coming from. This has everything that as a fan of T.H. Snyder I have come to expect from her books. You either love or hate her characters but either way they stay with you and you can really relate to them. She is an amazing author and I believe everyone should read her work!

Cursed Fate

Change, simple for some, life altering for others.

Steve Zotto made a drastic decision in his life, one that was meant to create a fresh start. After years of addiction, he finally realized that the life he was living was either going to kill him or someone else. My Review

Where to start? T.H. Snyder is AMAZING!!! She seriously has a real talent! I don't want to spoil this books for anyone so I am going to try to be careful what I say. This book had me completely sucked in from the very first page but I was not surprised by that because all T.H. Snyder's books do that for me. This book I feel was way more emotional compared to the other books in the series. I love that because the characters seemed more real. I have cried during books before but this one takes the cake! The torment that you get to see the characters live is heartbreaking and you can't help but feel for them or in my case want to reach into the book and grab them and protect them! You get to see some different layers to the characters that you know and love from this series, and for me that made the character dig a little deeper into my soul.

It's not all angst and sadness though! Steve and Ashley's relationship is quite the rollercoaster. There are some really steamy scenes in this book that will have you spinning! The chemistry between these two is off the charts! Getting to know both of these characters better and seeing different sides to both of them. You also get to know CLiff just a little bit more in this book and I have to say from what I read I am really going to like him! I can't wait for his story! Also once again the cliffhanger queen has struck again and will leave you wanting more!

In the end this book has it all! This crew really is a family so with it comes jokes, laughter, drama, love, crying, and anything else you can think of! While I love the whole series I would have to say this book is one of my top 2 in the series. This book really makes you feel connected to the characters! T.H. Snyder really pulled out all the stops with this one! If you have not read this series you need to! These Characters will forever hold a place in my heart and this book is definitely in my top 5 for 2014!

My Thoughts

t.h. snyder is an amazing author and also an amazing person!  If you have not read her books I would highly suggest that you do.  I have yet to find a book by her that I have not loved.  The way that she writes I always manage to find a connection to her characters, whether I love or hate them!  I am also very grateful that I can call her friend.  Be sure to check out all her pages and on
December 1, 2014 go get your copy of The Fight!  She is an author to also watch in 2015 as she has several great books planned for next year as well!
